Inspired by the landscape of Andalusia and drawing from the beauty of blooming flowers of spring, Azahar is a virtuosic duet that celebrates the joy of movement and music while weaving together tradition, folk-lore, and culture. The creation of Azahar was supported by an artistic residency at Dancers’ Workshop in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Teatro Miguel Hernandez in Vilches, Jaen, Spain.
