Mamen B. Gil is the Technical and Production Director of the Marcat Dance Company since 2020. She is trained as a lighting, capture and image processing technician at the Andalusian Stage Training Center, and specialized in technical direction of live shows. From 2018 to the present she is in charge of Marcat Dance lighting designs. She has been responsible for Marcat Dance in relevant theaters and festivals such as the Teatros del Canal (Madrid), Auditoriums of Tenerife and Ibiza, the Itálica International Contemporary Dance Festival (Seville) and the Prisma Festival (Panama) among others.  She is a recipient of the 2025 Lorca Award for ¨Best Lighting¨ for AVERNO.  Apart from Marcat Dance, Mamen has designed lighting for productions collaborating with Eva Yerbabuena, Rocio Garrido and Macarena Lopez.
